Dubuque Scrapbook (red cover), 1940's

 Item
Identifier: 186

Scope and Contents

This scrapbook contains family photos as well as photos of downtown Dubuque and other Dubuque locations. Photos of a store selling petrified wood souveniers suggest it also contains travel photos. While most of the photos are undated, the inclusion of a NYA workshop building suggests it was created in the early 1940's. This is a tied style scrapbook, but due to deterioration, the tie was removed and the pages stored separated by acid-free tissue paper.
