Dubuque Scrapbook (black cover), 1940's
Item
Identifier: 184
Scope and Contents
This scrapbook contains family photos as well as photos of downtown Dubuque and other Dubuque locations. Photos of the London Bridge suggest it also contains travel photos, possibly assocaited with military service as there are multiple photos of individuals in uniform. While most of the photos are undated, one includes a display about a 1944 war fund and Paramounts 33 year anniversary which would have been in 1945. This is a tied style scrapbook, but due to deterioration, the tie was removed and the pages stored separated by acid-free tissue paper.
