Scope and Contents

• February 8, 1952: Must serve “white” oleo on tables – no colored. • April 29, 1952: Power lawn mower delivered. We are doubtful of having many children at the home. 11 flood children came to the home. • May 21, 1952: Mr. Reed (Irving principle): Our children are maladjusted. Wes Heitzman said that the old building was in good shape and could stand remodeling if need be. • $6716 from Community Chest. • Mrs. Michel thinks that we must make rooms out of the library. • Bees are swarming again. Called a Mr. Dietrich to come and take them if possible. • Allow the ladies who move into the library 3 rooms to furnish with their own furniture – but only the 3 rooms. • Canning sauerkraut and beets. 132 qts. Of vegetable and fruit to date. 200 quarts of peach sauce
